• During Term Time: Typically, you can work up to 20 hours per week during term time if you are enrolled in a full-time degree course at a recognized institution.
• During Holidays: During official university breaks (like summer or winter holidays), you can work full-time (up to 40 hours per week).

Graduate Route (Post-Graduation Work Visa)

The Graduate Route is a special visa designed to allow international students who have successfully completed a degree in the UK to stay and work or look for work after graduation. It’s one of the best options for international students wishing to gain valuable work experience in the UK.

• Full-time Work Rights: During your Graduate Route visa period, you can work full-time, including in any sector, and there are no restrictions on the type of work you can do.
• Path to Settlement: While the Graduate Route itself is not a direct path to permanent settlement (indefinite leave to remain), it can provide you with the experience and work history needed to apply for a Skilled Worker Visa or other long-term visas.

Healthcare in the UK is provided through the National Health Service (NHS), which offers excellent medical care for all residents, including international students, under specific conditions. As an international student in the UK, you will be entitled to certain healthcare services, although there are some additional requirements.

Health Insurance and NHS Coverage

• What is Covered by the NHS?
  • General Practitioner (GP) Services: You can register with a GP, who will be your first point of contact for most health issues. They can refer you to specialists if necessary.
  • Emergency Care: If you require urgent medical treatment, you can visit an Accident & Emergency (A&E) department at a hospital. You won’t need to pay for emergency services.
  • Hospital Treatment: Most hospital treatments, including surgery and outpatient appointments, are covered by the NHS.
